Use examples from your previous work experiences in which you solved similar issues to strengthen your point.Network in a new way.Sure, you have professional accounts on all the social media channels and are engaging online. But thats not enough if you want to get your foot in the door at your dream company. Ryan suggests doing a search to find people on LinkedIn who are in the same industry as you and find out who theyre working for. She calls the search Whos Around because it will reveal to you potential employers in your area who are employing people in the same industry as you, doing the same work as you. By having this info of local employers, you can reach out to them directly. Or, you can connect with those same people on LinkedIn and forge connections that can not only broaden your network, but hopefully help you get a job interview with one of these organizations.It can be super frustrating when employers dont respond to job applications.
